Sebastian walked out of Drake, glancing around as he stuck a fresh cigarette between his lips and lit it. He was back at Easton and was planning on getting the fuck out as quickly as possible. He wanted nothing more than to be in Italy with his father and away from his mother’s prying hands. She had in her mind what he would do with his life and it wasn’t what he wanted. Sure he could go to college and he probably would, but not anywhere that she wanted him to go. He was smart enough to get into any school he wanted, not that you would know that by looking at him.

He walked through the parking lot, stopping in front of his bike. It was his pride and joy. He exhaled the smoke slowly, tossing the cigarette down on the ground and crushing it beneath the heel of his boot. He crouched down to check the oil in his bike. He hadn’t had a chance to drive it since he got back to Easton, but today would be the perfect opportunity. He pulled a rag out of his back pocket and wiped his hands off before reaching in and tightening some things, making sure that everything was perfect.

Ever since he was little he had an interest in bikes and cars and the way they worked, his father had encouraged him and had even gotten him his motorcycle instead of a car when he started driving. One of the many benefits of his bike was that his mother absolutely hated it and if he could anger his mother in any way, it was a good thing. He hummed softly to himself as he checked one last thing, smirking as he looked up to see a figure walking his direction.

Harper had spent her entire morning unpacking suitcases, trying to fit everything she’d brought into a room she thought was too small for her belongings. It’d been a constant back and forth, unpacking what she thought she needed now and leaving what she didn’t. She was glad that the first couple of days back were free days, giving the students the option of actually going to class or getting their rooms settled. Harper was usually the one to attend class however with a wardrobe like hers, class was not an option.

She gave the room one last glance, double checking that she didn’t miss anything as her phone beeped informing her that the car was waiting for her in the parking lot. Unlike others who stored what they no longer needed somewhere under their bed, Harper liked to send things back home. It was a bit tedious, having to pack things up and carry a box too big for her small frame down the stairs and across campus but she didn’t mind.

What she did mind was having to walk past other boys on campus and not one asking her if she wanted help carrying her belongings. As she felt the soft grass turn into smooth concrete the girl heard the soft shuffle and what she thought was humming just as her fingers were slipping around the box. Unable to see who the body belonged to Harper called out in defeat “Um. Would you mind helping me?” Her voice soft yet strained as she felt her fingers go numb. “Please my fingers are about to slip and I can’t see a thing.” She called out once more still unsure of who the person before her was.

Harper…

villa-lorena:

Yeah, sure.. for some reason I didn’t pack as much as I did last semester. But I don’t mind. As long as you don’t mind me borrowing a few of your bags.. and heels..

Don’t worry I think I’ve brought enough to supply for the entire campus. Of course I don’t mind, borrow whatever you need.

Harper…

villa-lorena:

How on earth will all of these boxes fit into your half of the room?

Well since I have more things than you I think it’s fair I should have 2/3rds of the room instead of half. I mean I already got rid of so much, this are the necessities, you can’t expect me to only have half.

The moon of my life.

The moon of my life.

Really? I don’t remember saying either of those things. However I do think I recall somebody being stingy and not wanting to tell me where the ice cream shop was. I feel cheated and you’re all to blame.

I’ve got some cream right here for ya, babe.

Unless it’s mocha flavored I don’t want it.

I’ll drink some coffee and we’ll see how it turns out.

Make sure you shake it real good.
